We oversee a safeguarding adults training programme in North Tyneside.

Safeguarding training

North Tyneside Safeguarding Adults Board oversee the implementation and delivery of a Safeguarding Adults Training programme within the borough. The programme is delivered by a range of professionals using endorsed training packages. North Tyneside Council currently deliver Safeguarding Adults Training to all sectors including Social Services, North Tyneside ICB, Northumbria Healthcare Trust, and the Independent and Private Sector.

Booking Courses

Learning Pool is an internet-based system which provides access to e- learning modules as well as ‘course booker’. 

Learning Pool will maintain records of all registered users personal training events and any e-learning they have completed. They will be able to review their personal records at anytime.

North Tyneside employees

North Tyneside employees, who have access to the Learning Pool, can book face to face courses or access a selection of e-learning modules by logging onto the intranet system and using their usual log in detail. There is no charge for internal users.

External partners

Individuals will be required to complete an online registration form the first time they book onto a course. They will only need to do this once, as they can then book future events directly online through Learning Pool’s ‘course booker’, with their unique registration user name.
